CiTi BOCES is seeking a part-time (Tuesdays & Thursdays) Practical Nursing Instructor to facilitate effective clinical learning experiences by guiding students through patient care, providing feedback, and ensuring skill development through structured conferences and on-site instruction.
The Practical Nursing Instructor will:
• Conduct pre-conference to prepare students for clinical expectations
• Conduct post-conference to review learning, clarify concepts, and reinforce key points
• Assign students to patients and adjust assignments as needed
• Rotate among students during clinical to:
• Observe performance
• Provide instruction
• Deliver positive, constructive feedback
• Identify teachable moments and offer timely guidance and support
• Review student clinical workbook entries
Timeframe:
While class is in session-month (11 months) position, day-time hours
Attendance at graduation is expected
Compensation:
• Same break schedule as CiTi's K-12 school calendar
• Opportunity to co-teach lab skills during Phase 1 of the program
