Job Description

CiTi BOCES is seeking a full-time Practical Nursing instructor for the Adult Education department.

The Practical Nursing Instructor will:

• Deliver theory instruction aligned with course outcomes; develop and maintain instructional materials
• Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records
• Support a safe, positive and professional learning environment
• Collaborate with faculty via meetings, trainings, curriculum development sessions and contributing instructional recommendations and feedback
• Participate in student advisement and academic support, offering guidance that promotes student success, program readiness and professionalism
• Deliver Lab and Clinical instruction, including pre- and post- clinical discussions, as scheduled
• Fulfill additional program needs as assigned, including providing classroom, lab or clinical coverage as
appropriate

Timeframe:

January through December, annually.

Compensation:

• Health benefits available
• Same holiday break schedule as CiTi's K-12 school calendar
• 8 Fridays off between July and August, annually
• Candidates enrolled in MSN Compensation for MSN credit hours per CBA and approval

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as RN
• RN with Nursing Education MSN

• or RN with Bachelor's Degree, pursuing Nursing Education MSN. Successful candidate can enroll in MSN upon hire.
