| The Teaching Assistant supports classroom instruction and student learning under the direction of the lead teacher. The role involves working directly with migrant students to provide academic reinforcement, assist with small group and one-to-one instruction, and help create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and student activities Provide one-on-one or small group academic support in reading, writing, mathematics, and other subject areas Supervise students during classroom, recreation and mealtimes to ensure safety and engagement Support language development and cultural inclusion for English Learners. Model positive behavior and contribute to a supportive, respectful learning atmosphere. Program Schedule: July 1-Aug 7th, 2026 Monday-Friday 7:45am-2:00pm |
