CiTi BOCES Synergy Virtual Learning is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Virtual Elementary Teacher to provide high-quality virtual tutoring to elementary-aged learners. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about helping students build foundational skills, gain confidence, and experience academic success in an online environment. This role is perfect for educators who are skilled at creating engaging virtual learning experiences and tailoring instruction to meet individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group virtual tutoring for elementary students in core subject areas (ELA, math, science, social studies).
• Assess student learning needs and design personalized instructional plans.
• Deliver engaging, interactive virtual lessons using digital tools and platforms.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress, goals, and strategies for continued learning.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and instructional activities.
• Create a positive, supportive virtual learning environment that encourages academic growth.

Job Qualifications

• Valid NYS teacher certification in Childhood Education.
• Experience teaching or tutoring elementary students virtually is preferred.
• Strong understanding of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices.
• Comfort and proficiency with virtual learning platforms and digital tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and student-engagement skills.
