The Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation’s Adult Literacy office is seeking a part-time GED Instructor to provide differentiated instruction and support students directly to prepare students for the GED exam and for gainful employment post-graduation.
Openings are located in Pulaski (Tuesday, Thursday 6pm-9pm) and Remotely (new offering, days and times to be established with instructor)
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will:
Prepare differentiated learning materials in Math, Social Studies, Language Arts and Science;
Provide differentiated, direct instruction in small class settings;
Support student progress, career readiness and transition goals;
Administer in-person assessments, as required by program regulations;
Completion of progress reports, attendance forms and annual program maintenance forms;
Other duties assigned per requirements from the NYSED AEPP office.
