Job Description

We are hiring a knowledgeable and organized professional to lead our Intro to Mechanical Assembly course. The instructor will teach students how to assemble mechanical components with precision and an understanding of technical instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and supervise mechanical assembly techniques
• Teach students how to follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions
• Ensure student adherence to quality and safety standards
• Provide feedback and support to learners of varying skill levels
• Create a final project where students assemble a multi-component mechanical system using their learned skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and functionality
  
   

Program Duration: 6 Weeks 

Location: CiTi BOCES, Mexico Campus 

Time/Days of the Week: TBD by Instructor

Stipend: $6,000
 

Job Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, or industrial manufacturing
• Proficiency with mechanical tools, fasteners, and fixtures
• Ability to interpret assembly instructions and technical drawings
• Clear communication and classroom management skills
• Previous teaching or workforce training experience is a plus
