Job Description

The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation Adult Programs Department has an opening for a part-time, weekend CDL-A instructor. The instructor will deliver pre-trip, road and range driving instruction. Demonstration of highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude. Ability to work in an observation/coaching style environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Using the curriculum provided by the school, provide training to adult students in the area of pre-trip, range and road training CDL training. Training will be provided using the tractor trailer or dump truck, depending on the needs of the student. Instructor will be responsible for documenting the training session and attendance.

 

Job Qualifications

Possession of a current, valid CDL-A license is required. Five years verifiable industry experience within the last ten years is required. Prior experience teaching and/or experience with training employees is desired.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Per Teachers’ CBA - $32.45/hr. Part-time – 32-40 weekend hours per month.
