Job Description

CiTi BOCES is currently seeking a NYS licensed Speech Language Pathologist. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals.
• Assist in classroom modifications and accommodations to enhance communication access.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ goals and progress.
• May work with students who have articulation, fluency, voice, or social communication challenges.
   

 

Job Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
