Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our team within one of our Alternative Education programs. As a High School Math Teacher, you will play a crucial role in helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics and develop critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Deliver engaging and rigorous math lessons to high school students through a blended learning environment.
• Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Student Support: Provide individualized support to students who may need additional assistance with a large focus on social emotional development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that prepares students for life after high school.
• Data-Driven Approach: Use data to assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.

Job Qualifications

• New York State teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) in 7-12 Mathematics.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
